the reason for this failure is the token that was obviously updated. I see both connections being #equals(ed) and failing in the last portion:

[~scabanovich] reading the stacktrace makes me think that the selection is found, the stacktrace clearly reports a project "someproject". Somehow ConnectionsRegistryUtil.getConnectionFor can't find the connection for the given selected project.
