[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-4143) RPM requires eclipse-m2e-* -> not installable
by Václav Kadlčík (JIRA)
Václav Kadlčík created JBDS-4143:
------------------------------------
Summary: RPM requires eclipse-m2e-* -> not installable
Key: JBDS-4143
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-4143
Project: Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio (devstudio)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: rpm
Reporter: Václav Kadlčík
Priority: Blocker
Follow-up to JBDS-4141. lucene3 is OK now but five others appeared:
# yum localinstall rh-eclipse46-devstudio-10.2-0.20161027.0913.el7.x86_64.rpm

Requires: eclipse-m2e-mavenarchiver
I don't think there's anything in RHEL which can satisfy eclipse-m2e-core, or whatever starting with "eclipse". That is, unless Mat is brewing something really different from his previous builds of rh-eclipse46...
Maybe there's some systematic error how the RPM Requires get created?

> SSLCertificatesPreference.isValid(String): Could not parse 'Čt, 20 Zář 2018 12:54:07' in format E, d MMM yyyy HH:mm:ss
> An exception stack trace is not available.
> As you can see, the date is localized. I think this started happening after I updated to macOS Sierra last night - I never noticed it before. If we can figure out where the parsing is happening, perhaps we can come up with a switch for using english date here.

So, the only thing left I could do was to reboot my machine. So I did. And the errors disappeared... :-\
I have to say that I never experienced anything like this before, where a simple Eclipse restart wouldn't fix things.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-23419) ClassNotFoundException when clicking on any server in Servers view
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-23419?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-23419:
---------------------------------------
I now tried an older build - devstudio-10.2.0.AM3-v20161026-1715-B6309-installer-eap.jar . And it's even there, that's really strange.
For example if I try to enable AERI, I open the dialog, but when I click Enable to confirm it, it does nothing, just throws and Unhandled loop exception in the error log view:

[JBoss JIRA] (JBTIS-961) SAPComponentTest sometimes fails due to property changes
by Andrej Podhradsky (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBTIS-961?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.... ]
Andrej Podhradsky commented on JBTIS-961:
-----------------------------------------
Ha! The trick is as follows
# edit the component in Properties view
# open another view, e.g. Error Log
# delete the component
# add another component which is similar to the previous one
# switch to Properties view

> It seems that some components are changed after adding to the palette. I have no idea what could be wrong but here is an example. The following component
> {code}
> sap-srfc-server:server:rfc
> {code}
> is changed to (EDIT: the change is applied once you activate the Properties view)
> {code}
> sap-srfc-server:myServer:rfc
> {code}
> Probably it happens due to previous changes in sap-trfc-server. The order of the tests is as follows
> * testSAPTRFCServer
> * testSAPQIDocDestination
> * testSAPSRFCServer

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-4141) RPM requires lucene3 -> not installable
by Pavol Srna (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-4141?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.... ]
Pavol Srna commented on JBDS-4141:
----------------------------------
Hi [~nickboldt], when can I expect new snapshots build? Is it a nightly build? Or do you need to push the button?
If it's a nightly job then would be good to set the trigger so that we get the artifacts in the morning Brno time, what do you think?
The site https://devstudio.redhat.com/10.0/snapshots/rpms/10.2.0/x86_64/ contains snapshots from Yesterday.

> The latest builds of rh-eclipse46-devstudio.rpm (e.g. rh-eclipse46-devstudio-10.2-0.20161026.0012.el7) don't install. They require lucene3 which isn't provided on RHEL 7.2+. The only available lucene packages seem to be rh-java-common-lucene (4.8) and rh-java-common-lucene5 (5.4)
