> I installed rh-eclipse46-devstudio-10.2-0.20161111.0219.el7.x86_64.rpm and followed Nick's scenario [1]. In Red Hat Central, I clicked "Select All" (it found 36 items), then "Install/Update", did all the confirmations, including a restart. After the restart, Eclipse died on java.lang.NullPointerException. I'm attaching the workspace log (aside from the NPE, it's full of "Could not resolve module").
> I reproduced the problem several times on two different machines. The update for RHBZ#1392095 (rh-eclipse46-eclipse-4.6.1-2.4.el7) isn't necessary, it just makes the reproduction much faster.
> Not sure how related it is, but rh-eclipse46 disallows updating packages installed from RPM [2]. But in the list of software to be installed/updated, I saw, among others, EGit and Mylyn, which are definitely included in rh-eclipse46-base. In any case, I'm attaching the list, too.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-23315) Connection wizard: "Advanced >>" Button is cropped
by Viacheslav Kabanovich (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-23315?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Viacheslav Kabanovich commented on JBIDE-23315:
-----------------------------------------------
I missed one more, obvious use-case, shown in screenshot-1. New Server wizard. In this case instance of page is used internally, and wizard creates another instance of task page, so that the check of page instance in pageChanged(event) does not pass and onPageActivated(dbc) is not called. I added correct check to ConnectionWizardFragment.WrappedConnectionWizardPage.
So, the second use case is:
1. Ensure that OpenShift 3 connection is the recent one, by editing it in OpenShift Explorer.
2. In Servers view call 'New->Server->OpenShift 3 Server Adapter'
Wizard should open on Sign-In page with recent OpenShift 3 connection.
Without PR 'Advanced' button is cropped, with PR it is fully visible.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21727) add OpenShift server adapter to downloadable WTP server adapters
by Nick Boldt (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21727?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-21727:
------------------------------------
As I said on March 14, re: https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-build-sites/pull/232/files ...
{quote}
My changes here were simply to make it easier to discover the OpenShift v3 server adapter via the WTP discovery process.
If we need to do more w/ wizards, that's a whole other issue... perhaps for a second JIRA? This one just asks that we "add OpenShift server adapter to downloadable WTP server adapters", which we've done.{quote}
So, if you need to write some wizard thing, then open a new JIRA.
If you just wanted the openshift v3 server adapter on the list of server adapters downloadable through the WTP wizard, then you're done here, and can mark this resolved for JBT 4.4.0 (back in March 2016).

> We have JBoss server adapters available in Eclise new Server wizard; would be great if we could put OpenShift in there too.
> Anything preventing us from doing so ?
> Is there a workflow from New server that helps users to create openshift connection etc. ?
