> Previously it was possible to select multiple OpenShift 2 applications and delete them at once via context menu Delete application(s).... Currently there is no such context menu anymore and it is a pain to delete several applications one by one.
> Added by Slava: In my environment, Delete for objects of OpenShift 2 does not work at all (menu is shown, but nothing happens). It seems the cause is a slip in plugin.xml for Openshift 3, handler org.jboss.tools.openshift.internal.ui.handler.DeleteResourceHandler declared activeWhen with <or> (count==1 _or_ instanceof IResource). So, formally having a lot of restrictions but passing them, this handler imposes itself on all selections. Though, it is possible that the bug reveals not in all environments.

> On nightly build of OpenShift tooling when I am trying to reconnect to an existing connection, whole IDE freeze. E.g. after restart of eclipse and token to server has not been stored in secure storage, I am prompted to enter token when trying to do anything with an existing OS3 connection and upon entering a token and hitting Finish button, IDE freeze and after a while its not responding.

> When I am creating a new OpenShift application from a docker image via command line, it works if used docker image is pushed to docker hub. In IDE, when I am trying to deploy a docker image, I can look up an image in wizard for deploying of docker image, but when application is created and even bug of missing pod JBIDE-21626 is workarounded by triggering manual deployment, it is not successfully running.
> Even when I checked and compared image streams and other resources of application created via oc binary and application created from tooling, it was almost the same (there were some small differences)
> In deployment pod is following log (XXX is substituted in places of image occurrences):

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21733) Docker connection does not work with CDK build 2016-02-19
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21733?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-21733:
---------------------------------------
[~maxandersen], if cert wasn't set I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work from anywhere. But adbinfo does return a valid path to the cert. It's just that the automatic connection in Eclipse doesn't work. But unfortunately there is no way to get details of a Docker connection from Eclipse, so I can't check if the path is malformed by any chance. It could also have something to do with what Hardy says - that the cert is generated at first launch of adbinfo - but then the question still is why it worked before and now it doesn't.

> To be sure, I also tried the other cdk from https://github.com/redhat-developer-tooling/openshift-vagrant and that worked. Then I tried back the official cdk and that didn't work.
> I'm pretty sure that this worked for me with the previous build. Not sure what changed.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21170) Problems with CDK Adapter resulting from missing PATH in Eclipse on Mac
by Martin Malina (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21170?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-21170:
---------------------------------------
I was under the impression that there would be a similar problem if you started your Eclipse on Linux from an icon rather then cli. But Marian tried this and it worked fine for him on Linux with JBDS started an icon. So it seems this problem really only appears on Mac. Hopefully we'll be able to reuse Alexey's fix?

> The problem is that CDK tooling relies on PATH to find vagrant. And the "vagrant up" command in turn depends on PATH to find e.g. VBoxManage.
> On Mac, when you start your Eclipse / JBDS as an app by double-clicking an icon on your Desktop or in Finder, the Eclipse instance will have no PATH env variable.
> One workaround is to start your Eclipse from command line by going inside the package:
> {code}
> cd Eclipse.app/Contents/MacOS
> ./eclipse
> {code}
> But this is definitely not the recommended way to start Eclipse - I'm not sure if eclipse.ini is located properly in this case. But at least PATH is correct then.
> There is actually one more workaround. To add your PATH to the Environment tab in Launch config. That works for me.
> So that might be a potential solution to this problem - have a predefined PATH for each OS in case there is none defined in the Eclipse process.
> After I set up a CDK server adapter and fixed the wrong path to vagrant in the launch config, I then started the server adapter and got this:
> Server CDK Server Adapter at localhost failed to start.
> Console:
> {code}
> The provider 'virtualbox' that was requested to back the machine
> 'default' is reporting that it isn't usable on this system. The
> reason is shown below:
> Vagrant could not detect VirtualBox! Make sure VirtualBox is properly installed.
> Vagrant uses the `VBoxManage` binary that ships with VirtualBox, and requires
> this to be available on the PATH. If VirtualBox is installed, please find the
> `VBoxManage` binary and add it to the PATH environmental variable.

> In the command line, VBoxManage is accessible and it is located in /usr/local/bin/ and on my PATH.
> Max suggested I could try to start Eclipse from command line instead of double-clicking in Finder (which is the normal way to do it on Mac) and that helped.
> So for some reason when you start Eclipse using Eclipse.app from Finder, the PATH is incorrect.
