> When I am creating a new OpenShift 3 server adapter from context menu of a service in OpenShift explorer view and I am having several projects and at least 2 same services (names must be equal) in different projects, then in New OS 3 Server Wizard is wrong service. This is happening when I am trying to create a server adapter from context menu of a service which is lower (in order of tree items under an OpenShift 3 connection) then a service with same name.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21886) Have a label for when there is no project in your openshift connection
by Marián Labuda (JIRA)
Marián Labuda commented on JBIDE-21886:
---------------------------------------
To make it more clear. Issue is that we are not letting user know about connection status. On other places in tooling (as far as I checked) are indicators of status or at least tree items displaying categories/groups/whatever with no tree items. But once there is an OpenShift connection with no project and user try to expand it, the down arrow disappears and there is only connection item. If user does not have deeper knowledge of our OpenShift tooling he/she could perceive it as not working (we in QE had OpenShift tooling testing session yesterday to have fresh eyes look on tooling and more people were noticing this issue).

> Marian and I were discussing the issue that it's not clear whether or not a connection to OpenShift 3 is established or not - in the OpenShift Explorer view.
> So here's a suggestion:
> When you expand your OpenShift connection and there is no project yet, we could display an item like this:
> No projects are available. Click this link to create a new project...
> This would be similar to what Server view display if there are no servers yet.
> This is related to JBIDE-21871 where we discussed how to make it clearer that an OpenShift connection is active and working.
> For CDK, we will hopefully have a default project via https://github.com/projectatomic/adb-utils/pull/78 so this won't be an issue, but you cannot guarantee that there will always be a project on all OpenShift 3 instances, so it would still be a good idea to have what we suggest above.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBTIS-571) Error loading file switchyard.xml. Unable to load the generated resource.

@Brian: the described behavior has been observed with Switchyard 1.0, 1.1, 2.0. I didn't have the curiosity to look in the log file but I will and I'll post it here.

> After creating a new switchyard project, next time it starts up JBDS is not able to open its own generated siwtchyard.xml file. The error "Error loading file switchyard.xml. Unable to load the generated resource" is displayed. The only choice is the OK button. Pressing it, the JBDS screen doesn't display but JBDS seems to be started and the LCK file created. The only option the user has is to kill the process.
> Tested on Windows 7 and Windows 10 with Java 8.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBTIS-571) Error loading file switchyard.xml. Unable to load the generated resource.
by nicolas duminil (JIRA)
nicolas duminil commented on JBTIS-571:
---------------------------------------
@Andrej: I'm seeing the same behavior as showed by the first screen shot, i.e. the message box with the error. Clicking the OK button, the behavior depends of the OS. On Windows 7 the IDE opens and I'm able to work. On Windows 10, which is my current OS now, it doesn't. But the JBDS process is active in the process list as well as the spawned Java process. So, on Windows 10, once the workspace has been closed leaving opened the switchyard.xml file, the workspace is not usable any more and the only way to use JBDS further is to create another workspace. On Windows 7 things are not so blocking as, beside the disagreement of the error message, one can use the workspace.

> Steps to recreate:
> * After a clean install, from Central install create a project such as a Java EE project
> * Observe the dialog in the attached screenshot - after the required packages are installed the user is returned to Central - as a user I would have expected to have had the project created automatically after the required packages were installed
