[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21830) Server Adapter wizard: route selected by default is wrong
by Andre Dietisheim (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21830?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Andre Dietisheim updated JBIDE-21830:
-------------------------------------
Steps to Reproduce:
# ASSERT: make sure that you have several apps in the same project (and then of course you'll have several routes)
# EXEC: launch server adapter wizard (either via "Servers" view > New > OpenShift > OpenShift 3 or via+underlined text+ context menu "Server Adapter" to a service in explorer)
# EXEC: in server adapter wizard: select 2nd service (or any service other than the 1st)
# EXEC: unfold "Advanced >>" and inspect
Result:
The route that is selected by default is not the right one.
!wrong-default-route.png!
# EXEC: select a different route
# ASSERT: default route should switch over
Result:
It's not changing, it stays the same
# EXEC: hit "Finish" and open the Server Adapter Editor
# ASSERT: the Host that is displayed should be the host that the route is pointing to
Result:
The host is reflecting the 1st route that exists in the project, not even the route that was chosen in the wizard.

> As of Feb 4, install-grinder was mostly blue, and the occasional red ball was fixed w/ naginator. (See JBIDE-20331)
> But since then, install grinder is failing again in 4.3.1.CR1 and 4.4.0.Alpha1 builds.
> Not sure what's blocking the UI this time, but on the plus side, at least Red Hat Central now reports when GTK2/3 is missing on the slave.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21654) add aeri for jboss tools
by Marcel Bruch (JIRA)

Marcel Bruch commented on JBIDE-21654:

I wonder where did got the Dec 2015 version from. Anyways:
The Neon site (http://download.eclipse.org/releases/neon) contains a Feb 2016 version - which will work. I'd recommend to use versions >20160201*.
I don't know how your policies are but:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/logging/milestones/ has the latest bits that we consider stable for jboss.
Milestones, however, may update frequently which may result in surprises and additional testing efforts. If you like, we can add a "stable" site just for JBT where we only publish updates after contacting your build masters (i.e., you) via JIRA.

> We have the possibility to get at test environment for error reporting for JBoss Tools.
> For that we need Mars.2 (pre-Mars.2 will not work) and the latest aeri.
> Thus we can't add it by default to i.e. usage (unless we want to force upgrade everyone), but we can at least include it in the default set.
> In Neon we can add to usage.

[~mickael_istria] Thanks!
Can you ensure install-grinder is rebuilt, deployed to Nexus, and that the jobs that need it are updated accordingly?

by Mickael Istria (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21826?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Mickael Istria commented on JBIDE-21826:
----------------------------------------
The test is failing as a consequence of Central rebranding. Yesterday, I added a patch that fix it on master instrall-grinder.
On branch, install-grinder can and should use last master, 4.4.0-SNAPSHOT.
It seems like there are still issues with Firefox, however they do not seem to be the main one at the moment.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21791) Forge addon - Changing the current file may cause a "file has changed in file vs memory" issue in Eclipse
by George Gastaldi (JIRA)

Would it work if we force-save just the opened file in the current editor and do not prompt about the other files? I am 99.99% sure that nobody will complain about this behavior.

> Similar problem as FORGE-2605 but this time its in Eclipse.
> See the attached screenshot, where I have edited the file camel-context.xml, and then run my forge command, which would insert a Camel endpoint at the cursor position. But eclipse has detected a file conflict as in that dialog.
> I wonder if the fix should be like in IDEA to save the file before the command is run.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21654) add aeri for jboss tools

Now, in the latest JBT TPs we have:
{code:title=http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbosstoolstarget/4.52.0.CR1-SNAPSHOT/REPO/plugins/}
org.eclipse.epp.logging.aeri.core_1.100.0.v20160211-1103.jar 05-Mar-2016 00:46 164K
org.eclipse.epp.logging.aeri.ide_1.100.0.v20160217-0435.jar 05-Mar-2016 00:58 365K
{code}
but in the 4.60.0.Alpha1 one, we have:
{code:title=http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbosstoolstarget/4.60.0.Alpha1-SNAPSHOT/REPO/plugins/}
org.eclipse.epp.logging.aeri.ide_1.100.0.v20151213-2123.jar 05-Mar-2016 01:02 20K
org.eclipse.epp.logging.aeri.ui_1.100.0.v20151216-0616.jar 05-Mar-2016 00:39 430K
{code}
So... that's the old AERI from Dec 2015 and there's a .ui instead of a .core plugin. Will that one from Neon.M5 work, or do we need to wait until Neon.M6 is available during the week of 03/18 to 03/25 ?
