> Components: openshift
> Affects Versions: 4.4.0.Alpha1
> Reporter: Marián Labuda
> Priority: Minor
> Labels: application_wizard

> When opening a New OpenShift Application wizard from context menu of a connection or via central or via shell menu File - New - OpenShift Application, the selected project in the wizard is random (e.g. having several project aaa, bbb, ccc, ddd, eee1, eee2, eee3 the order of projects was following eee1 aaa bbb bbb bbb ccc eee1 aaa bbb). We could preselect a first project to have it consistent.

> At the moment we have only JBoss perspective. We should create a new, more container oriented perspective, where Docker Explorer view would be opened by default and other views should be added and aligned to satisfy user needs. Layout of perspective should be more focused on container development.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-3698) Installer - We should document (rel notes) the versions of the installable components that we support
by Jan Richter (JIRA)
Jan Richter edited comment on JBDS-3698 at 4/22/16 9:39 AM:
------------------------------------------------------------
One issue here:
"If the following components are not detected, they will be installed. If they are detected, they are updated or downgraded according to the installer requirements."
There is no updating or downgrading the detected components. Newer versions are left as they are and older versions are not accepted (even though it does not say so on the confirmation page).

> It's good that the installer will allow users to have/retain their own installed components, and verify that the installed versions are supported, but we should provide the users with a documented list of the ranges of supported versions. Thx!

[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-3794) Installer - We should document the uninstall steps
by Jan Richter (JIRA)

Jan Richter edited comment on JBDS-3794 at 4/22/16 9:34 AM:

I have a few minor issues to report here:
- item 3: "In the user home directory, which is located at \*\*C:\Users\*\* by default" - the path should point to something like C:\Users\username
- item 4: "The default location used by the installer for this is the c:\<DeveloperPlatform" - delete the angular bracket perhaps
- item 5: There is one more environment variable the installer uses - "VAGRANT_DETECTED_OS" - we should mention that as well
Edit: now I see the first issue is a markdown formatting problem :)

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-21885) Remove "()" from context-menu name of Start Build
by Marián Labuda (JIRA)
Marián Labuda commented on JBIDE-21885:
---------------------------------------
Affected version was set to 4.3.0.Beta so I've changed it to 4.4.0.Alpha1 to reflect the reality. In 4.3.x I was not experiencing this issue, I have integration test for triggering a new builds and it was using correct label, so there are 2 options:
a) It was fixed in 4.3.x before I had the automated test for it
b) it has been never introduced in 4.3.x branch.

This issue has no evidence of fix in 4.3.x. If it is not reproduced in the branch, we have to check what is the difference.
