[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-22264) Distinguish OpenShift versions on Tracing preference page
by Marián Labuda (JIRA)
Marián Labuda created JBIDE-22264:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Distinguish OpenShift versions on Tracing preference page
Key: JBIDE-22264
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-22264
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: openshift
Affects Versions: 4.4.0.Alpha1
Reporter: Marián Labuda
On preference page Tracing there are OpenShift plugin to trace. At the moment plugins are not distinguished and if user does not know that *express* is related to OpenShift 2 he can be lost. It would be nice if plugins could be spotted distinct on first sight. In the tree on the preference page are at the moment tree items "OpenShift client" for both. It could be "OpenShift 2 client" and "OpenShift 3 client".

> Table in Import OpenShift Application wizard is empty when trying to import an OpenShift application via shell menu File - Import - Existing OpenShift Application. It is necessary to hit Refresh button to get any build config to the table and making it possible to import an application.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-22190) Application wizard: Support "URL" templates to create a new application
by Aurélien Pupier (JIRA)
Aurélien Pupier commented on JBIDE-22190:
-----------------------------------------
[~jeffmaury] To be honest, i have no real idea of what it is exactly. I just know that I need to use it calling oc create -f fis-image-streams.json in order to be able to use Fuse Integration Service in Openshift. My goal is to be able to do it from within Eclipse because it is really "last century" to go to command line. (all the more that on windows, sometimes need to use cygwin, sometimes not, it really bother me).
Perhaps it is a different feature request than the related initial issue?

> Currently, we can choose on the server template or to use a local template. it would be nice to be able to use an URL template too.
> My current use case: I want to create a Fuse Integration Service application based on a template which is available on github at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jboss-fuse/application-templates/master...

> In Deploy Image to OpenShift wizard on the wizard page containing environment variables there is a Reset button. At the moment reset works only for one environment variable at the moment. It would be nice, if reset would set all environment variables (whole table) to default state. Currently the next wizard page containing ports mapping behave in desired way (reset set ports to default values), therefore it would be nice to have it consistent across wizard pages which are next to each other.
