I don't think this is a Docker tooling issue, it's rather a matter of configuring the Docker daemon to work with insecure registries (which is the case since the OpenShit registry runs on a VM with self-signed certificates). The same problem happens from CLI when pushing an image to the OpenShift Docker registry.

It seems (i really hope) that i've become closer to resolve it.
When we try to expand the connection (without stored token) Connection.authorize() is called from 2 places:

For pure Docker scenarios (w/o CDK) please create upstream issues in bugzilla with RHT whiteboard so they will appear in ERT project. No need to duplicate them in JBIDE IMO.
