[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-22631) FreeMarker Editor regression or configuration question
by ZERR Angelo (JIRA)
ZERR Angelo commented on JBIDE-22631:
-------------------------------------
Hi guys,
Indeed, I have started a work for Freemarker with WTP like PHP. You can see JFlex grammar at https://github.com/angelozerr/Freemarker-Eclipse-DLTK/blob/master/poc/org... which is a mix of HTML and FM.
But I have given the project because few people was interested with this project and switch to AngularJS Eclipse project because a lot of people was interested.
I think mix of several languages should be supported with a more easy mean (avoid redefinning a JFlex grammar) with Eclipse editor (like WTP SemantiicHighlight). It should be cool if Mickael works of CodeEditor could manage that).

> As initially raised at https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-freemarker/issues/59
> latest FreeMarker Editor plugin (v of 2016) appear less functional than v of 2009, e.g. only highlight for freemarker syntax, but not any HTML support.
> Both where installed in recent Eclipse Mars.
> Or possibly something should be configured for FreeMarker Editor to support HTML editing as well.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-22860) Application Wizard: Improve layout for templates
by Marián Labuda (JIRA)
Marián Labuda commented on JBIDE-22860:
---------------------------------------
It will only require modify string org.jboss.tools.openshift.reddeer.utils.OpenShiftLabel.TextLabels.LOCAL_TEMPLATE and everything should be still working.

> In the New OpenShift Application wizard we have 2 tabs for a decision on what should a new application be based. One for server-template-based application (either from templates or builder images) and one for "Local template". Problem with local template is that it supports usage of URL templates - I can provide an URL of a template. This is not really local template. I think we should rename "Local template" tab to "Custom template" or something what would suggest usage of URLs as well as templates from local file system.
