[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-22916) Deploy Docker Wizard: Deploying a docker image from OpenShift explorer does not fetch metadata if image is not pulled to a docker connection

> When I am trying to deploy a docker image from context menu of a project in OpenShift explorer view and I paste image name (e.g. docker.io/openshift/hello-openshift), image metadata are not fetched/processed and thus there are no environment variables in the wizard and routing (routing wizard page is empty and cannot finish dialog - requires manual entry). This force user to enter the details manually, otherwise he would get deployed not working pod. This is happening only in case when user provide an image without any tag and thus there is/supposed to be assumed tag "latest".
> You can observe that it works when using tag v1.2.1. Difference between images with tag v1.2.1 and latest is that v1.2.1 contains exposed ports also in container config, not just in general config of the image.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-22362) Server Adapter: Static changes done to nodejs application are not visible

> I am having an OpenShift application based either on nodejs-example or nodejs-mongodb-example template. Once application is up and running I create a new server adapter and perform changes in index.html. These changes are static and should be (?) immediately visible on OpenShift server, but they are not. I have checked whether changes were published, but rsync in console shows expected output also changes done manually on the server side to index.html are not visible in browser (even when cache overwritten is triggered - so there is no caching problem in browser). This seems to be upstream issues, but requires investigating.
> So far I have tried it on CDK OpenShift. It would be nice to test it on other OpenShift instances, also on templates using different base docker image.

> for a code line like
> const FOO = "bar";
> the code formatter inserts a line break after the const keyword, resulting in
> const
> FOO = "bar";
> While this simply looks ugly (to me) code verification reports a warning "Missing semicolon", so I get many nasty m,arkers on source files.
> Please remove those line breaks or make them settable in the formatter settings.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-23136) Deploy Docker Wizard: Pushing image to CDK registry results in an image with no tag
by Marián Labuda (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-23136?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Marián Labuda updated JBIDE-23136:
----------------------------------
Description:
I have a docker connection to local docker daemon and a CDK docker connection. I am pushing an image from a docker connection to CDK registry via Deploy Image to OpenShift wizard. Push of an image pass, but it results into an image with no tag, see:
172.30.192.49:5000/msa/msa <none> 238200ae067d 4 months ago 1.05 GB
Such images are not shown in docker explorer under a docker connection because of upstream bug ERT-411
