> After a recent change to the Eclipse Marketplace, we can only select up to 5 categories. This affects how we're discovered when someone searches for Marketplace listings.
> Here's what we currently use for JBoss Tools:
> {code}Application Server
> Database Development
> General Purpose Tools
> IDE
> J2EE Development Platform{code}
> And here's what we have for Devstudio - the same 5 categories:
> {code}Application Server

> IDE
> J2EE Development Platform{code}
> And for Devstudio IS:
> {code}

> Maybe we want to remove

> IDE{code}

> {code}Web, XML, Java EE and OSGi Enterprise Development, and
> Mobile and Device Development{code}
> Or should we include {code}Linux Tools{code} since we have

> For Integration Stack, we could drop "IDE" and "Tools" and use instead:
> {code}
> Business Intelligence, Reporting and Charting
> Database Development

> What do you think?

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-23603) Server adapter: changes to eap are (published but) not visible unless in debug
by Dmitrii Bocharov (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-23603?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Dmitrii Bocharov commented on JBIDE-23603:
------------------------------------------
[~jeffmaury] thank you! have you tested it on windows? And could you, please, say your oc version ?
I haven't tested this issue with CDK. I reproduce it in `oc cluster up` instance of openshift.
With 1.3.1 version of oc both static and dynamic content changes are not visible.
With 1.4.1. - static files changes (e.g. index.xhtml) are visible , problem is with dynamic content.
[~adietish] also tried to set DEV_MODE env variable to true (that helped in JBIDE-22362), a new deployment was started, then i recreated server adapter, but still can't see published changes made in java classes.

> steps to reproduce:
> # EXEC: create a new eap64-basic-s2i application in OpenShift and have the jboss-kitchensink project imported to your workspace (dont use a pre-created one)
> # EXEC: create a server adapter for it
> Result:
> The server adapter immediately tries to start and publish once you finish the server adapter wizard. This leads to the following error which is expected since the pods, that the server adapter wants to publish to, dont exist yet. The build has to finish first. Once it's finished, the pod will be ready and available for the adapter to sync to.
> !starting-server-adapter-failed.png!
> The adapter then turns to [Stopped] and stays stopped.
> I then have to keep watching the OpenShift Explorer or the Properties to catch the moment when the build's finished and the service pod is running.
> Once this is achieved I can go and start the adapter which will then successfully publish.
> It would be much nicer if the adapter would do this waiting for me, it would possibly still inform me that the pod doesnt exist yet but would watch the build and start publishing once it exists.
> In order for this wait not to occur endlessly we could inform the user after some timeout, that we were waiting for some pods to appear but this didnt happen in the given timeframe.
