[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-24284) Add docker.reddeer to JBT/devstudio target platforms for 4.63.x and 4.70.x
by Jeff Johnston (JIRA)
Jeff Johnston commented on JBIDE-24284:
---------------------------------------
Just to be clear: the reddeer plugins were built
from Linux Tools master against Oxygen into updates-docker-nightly. They will
first appear officially in Linux Tools as part of the Oxygen M7 milestone. Offhand, I don't know of
anything that will break using them with Neon.3, but I wanted to clarify how they were built.
If you run into issues, they may have to be rebuilt against Neon.3.

> Pavol has requested that we add docker.reddeer plugins/features to the TP.
> I assume this is for the Neon.3 AND Oxygen.0.M5 target platforms. Do we also need this added to the Neon.0 target platform?
> Which version of Docker Tools should be mirrored ?

> While starting/stopping CDKv3 server adapter, you can observe flashing window (coming from hyperV) in terminal tab. The output looks bit ugly, there is pretty much space. When starting/stoping minishift from windows command prompt, you can see such blue flashing/blinking window, too. When I tried cygwin terminal, this did not happen. I am not sure if we can do anything about it, it seems like upstream/system issue.
