Turns out that the widgets that look broken are not "broken" by the error. The resource type is always displayed in this way:
!server-adapter-resource-type.png!
To me this isnt the best possible way to display such an info. I'd strongly prefer a label to a read-only text-field, which looks like things could be edited to a non-seasoned user. And then I think that cutting off the text isnt nice either. I think that we should try to match the display in other places like the one in the servers view:

EXEC: Create a new application (I used nodejs:latest image)
EXEC: Create a server adapter for the service that was created with the application
EXEC: Remove the created service
EXEC: open up the editor for the server adapter
