> Pushing an image to the CDK3 Docker registry is not possible. When the image is tagged, the registry port is not used thus Docker will try to contact the CDK Docker registry in port 80 causing a timeout to occur at the UI level.
> Steps to reproduce:
> # Create a Docker and OpenShift connection to CDK3 (using the server adapter or manually)
> # Edit the OpenShift connection and add http://172.30.1.1:5000 as the registry address ("minishift docker-env" should tell you about this url)
> # Build your own Docker image on the CDK3 Docker connection
> # Deploy that image and select Push to registry: a timeout will occur after 30s

> Having this variable set up and starting CDK from command line, virtual machine picks up correct virtual switch, but starting CDK from devstudio, virtual machine may pick up different virtual switch (in my case "DockerNAT" -> CDK is not working with this switch).

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-24301) Error while building jbosstools-openshift-4.4.3
by Andre Dietisheim (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-24301?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Andre Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-24301:
------------------------------------------
[~jyoti-jboss] In your output I see the weird directories again, the ones that you had before we discussed building jbosstools-build
{quote}
C:\Users\jyoti.tumsare\Desktop\Jbosstools-Plugins\jbosstools-server-jbosstools-4.4.3.x\jbosstools-server-jbosstools-4.4.3.x\
{quote}
So I'd ask you to do the *exactly* same as you did for jbosstools-build:
* git clone https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-server
* mvn clean install

> To build jbosstools-openshift-4.4.3 I followed following steps
> 1. I clone jbosstools-base and jbosstools-server which are required for the building jbosstools-openshift-4.4.3.
> 2. while executing the jbosstools-base I got error "Missing requirement: org.jboss.tools.common.core 3.8.3.qualifier requires 'bundle org.jboss.tools.foundation.core 1.3.3' but it could not be found".
> 3. I build the org.jboss.tools.foundation.core 1.3.3 plugin and add into eclipse plugin folder and restart the eclipse IDE still facing the isuue.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-24443) Server adapter wizard: cannot distinguish listed items at first sight
by Andre Dietisheim (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-24443?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugi... ]
Andre Dietisheim updated JBIDE-24443:
-------------------------------------
Description:
steps:
# ASSERT: make sure that you have an application running in OpenShift
# EXEC: launch server adapter wizard
# ASSERT: server adapter wizard pops up listing 2 (at first sight) identical entries for your application
Result:
!2-identical-entries-listed.png!
I cannot easily distinguish the 2 entries that are listed. It's on the 2nd, closer look when comparing the details that I see the difference. The 1st entry is a service, the 2nd is a deployment config.
