[JBoss JIRA] (JBDS-4688) DevSuite Installer Guided Development Support in DevStudio
by Nick Boldt (JIRA)
Nick Boldt commented on JBDS-4688:
----------------------------------
Just want to call out the fact that this is a new feature being added after AM3's feature freeze. I trust all the various stakeholders have agreed to that risk? This will likely require changes to doc & more new stuff for QE to verify.

> Guided Development for DevStudio is based on Eclipse cheatsheets. To show guided development items selected during DevSuite installation at first DevStudio start there should be a plug-in that would check if guided development is requested during installation and open cheatsheat generated by DevSuite installer at first start.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-25893) Provide user option to perform 'minishift delete' on CDK/Minishift server adapter
by Ondrej Dockal (JIRA)
Ondrej Dockal created JBIDE-25893:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Provide user option to perform 'minishift delete' on CDK/Minishift server adapter
Key: JBIDE-25893
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-25893
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: cdk
Affects Versions: 4.5.3.Final
Reporter: Ondrej Dockal
Fix For: 4.5.x
In order to minimize user's interaction with command line while using CDK tooling in IDE, please, think of way how to provide option to delete CDK/Minishift configuration over server adapter. Because we already have context menu item 'Delete' on server adapter, we should think of something else, imho one of following could be a way:
#1 Add check box into CDK server editor ("Delete CDK on stop") and call delete after adapter is stopped
#2 New context menu item: 'Delete Minishift(CDK) vm/Delete virtual machine', or something similar
#3 Show a dialog on server adapter's delete call and ask user whether he want to, not only stop the adapter if it is running, but also delete underlying vm...
Each of option has its pros and cons. General thing regarding all option is that we do not want to interact with console and so, command delete has to be called with flag --force. do we want that? Please comment what do you think.. Thanks
