[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-26071) Add server adapter for WildFly 13

Mark S commented on JBIDE-26071:
--------------------------------
I am a bit confused and I am hoping someone can provide a bit of clarity.
Has the server adapter for WildFly 13 been successfully added to the JBoss Tools 4.6.0.Final release? If this server adapter feature has been successfully added, what is this JIRA Issue meant to track (bugs, incomplete solution, features missing)?
*+Background+*
I have been looking forward to the support for Wildfly 13 and when I saw that the fixed version for this JIRA issue updated from 4.6.0.Final to 4.9.0.AM1 I was pretty disappointed, as the planned 4.9.0.Final release date is October 2nd (https://issues.jboss.org/projects/JBIDE?selectedItem=com.atlassian.jira.j...).
However, I just accidentally discovered that I can view the "Wildfly 13" server adapter in my Eclipse Photon instance and then found this feature mentioned in the recent blog post [https://tools.jboss.org/blog/12.0.0.ga-for-photon.html] -

Wildfly 13 Server Adapter
A server adapter has been added to work with Wildfly 13. It adds support for Servlet 4.0.

> It turns out WildFly 13 was released yesterday. They're on a quarterly release cadence now apparently. So I wonder how we should deal with this. Perhaps should group some of the versions if there are no breaking changes for us? Or do you think it's better to stick with our current model of always adding a new adapter and that way you can always update the libs?

Ray Ramos created JBIDE-26280:
---------------------------------
Summary: Java 10 Support Is Missing From Eclipse Project Facets
Key: JBIDE-26280
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-26280

Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 4.6.0.Final
Environment: Java 10
Eclipse Photon

Java 10 is not supported from Eclipse/Project Facets and this breaks Eclipse trying to reconcile the different Java versions between the workspace and the project.

> In order to test the PR for JBIDE-26256 I installed JBT into Eclipse Photon. Now I wanted to create the HTML5 Project from Central. But when I click it, it only displays the Operation in progress window for a moment and then it disappears and nothing happens. The same applies for the Java EE Web Project. Other projects from Central work. I tried opening and closing Central and even restarting Eclipse, neither of those helped. Note that this worked ok in devstudio. I only experienced this today in Eclipse Photon + JBT 4.9.0.AM1 abridged.
> I'm on Mac and I installed JBT from http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/photon/staging/updates/ which currently contains the 4.9.0.AM1 bits.

[JBoss JIRA] (JBIDE-26098) Update dependencies in org.jboss.tools.stacks and repair test failures in jbosstools_base-master job

[~akurtako] Does this look like something that changed in Eclipse 4.9?
[~odockal] If we look at the # of tests run since last year...
https://dev-platform-jenkins.rhev-ci-vms.eng.rdu2.redhat.com/job/jbosstoo...
26 jul 2018: 374 passed, 1 skipped

https://dev-platform-jenkins.rhev-ci-vms.eng.rdu2.redhat.com/job/jbosstoo...
29 may 2017: 372 passed, 1 skipped
So... it's only a couple tests that are no longer running. Is this really a show stopper?

> 1. Have stacks tests to be run on jenkins jbt-base master and pull request job and have them green (not just omitting stacks tests results).
> 2. Update versions of maven plugins used as libraries in org.jboss.tools.stacks plugin:
> * org.jboss.jdf.stacks-client; 1.0.3.Final -> no change
> * org.yaml.snakeyaml; 1.10 -> 1.18
> * org.apache.httpcomponents.httpclient; 4.0.1 -> 4.5.5
> * org.apache.httpcomponents.httpcore; 4.0.1 -> 4.4.9
> * org.jboss.logging.jboss-logging; 3.1.2.GA -> 3.3.2.Final
> 3. Run all stacks.tests available (only one test class was run)
> 4. Check on dependencies and usages in org.jboss.jdf.stacks-client and org.jboss.tools.stacks (what needs to be update, does it broke something, what else is using it)
