> I don't see a way to disable recommenders in codeready studio.

> While updating to 2019-09, i discussed with [~odockal] about updating swtbot to a newer version, and it ends with a removal proposition as swtbot is already taken care of by the reddeer project.
> This task is about discussing/investigating the proper removal of swtbot as direct dependency in the jbosstools Target Platform.

> Additional javaee7-samples import issues
> Clone and import https://github.com/javaee-samples/javaee7-samples as maven projects
> They should import nicely (without errors) into JBT/JBDS and deploy to a JBT/JBDS managed Wildfly.
> There are still some Java Problems, Maven Problems and XML Problems after import, most projects are without errors. Project should be imported without errors

by Jeff MAURY (Jira)
Jeff MAURY created JBIDE-26912:
----------------------------------
Summary: Remove Code Recommenders from the TP
Key: JBIDE-26912
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-26912
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Task
Components: target-platform
Affects Versions: 4.13.0.Final
Reporter: Jeff MAURY
Assignee: Stephane Bouchet
Fix For: 4.14.0.AM1
Eclipse Recommenders has been removed from upstream EPPs starting 2018-12.
We should remove it from TP and Studio because it's not maintained anymore and causes issues on Java11

> This seems to be related to upstream issues https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=541266 and https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=542689 where recommenders doesn't work with Java 11 and has been removed by upstream eclipse and by the Red Hat Eclipse RPM packages https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RHECLIPSE-82.
> I don't see a way to disable recommenders in codeready studio.
