In CDK 2.x it was reasonable to use Terminal because of user interaction ([issue|https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-23039], but for CDK3 I think it would better to have the output in Console View (also, it might solve [this|https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-24188]).
