If I remember right, I discussed this issue with Alex, and he noted me that there are some
problems with Mac with this issue.
For my environment it always worked for faces-config.xml.
Now it works for pages.xml and for *.page.xml too.
Hyperlinking an EL expression should work in .page.xml files
