Francisco Jose Peredo Noguez commented on JBIDE-3101:
-----------------------------------------------------
Well, first, it should run in the background and it should be easy to cancel, second I
would like to see a warning just before finishing the wizard to create a Project Archives
saying that if your project is big it could take a lot of time and third, if I open a
project I just downloaded from subversion for the first time, and as it starts loading and
building it detects that the archive does not exist it should present me a confirmation
box saying: The project archive "xxxx" is going to be built for the first time,
this could take several minutes, do you want to continue? or do you prefere to disable it
for the moment? (You can enable it later going to .....
Project Archives should ask before first build

Key: JBIDE-3101
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-3101
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Affects Versions: 2.1.2
Reporter: Francisco Jose Peredo Noguez
Project Archives option should not run automatically, currently it seems to run whenever
the project is rebuilt, and since by default eclipse is configured to "build
automatically" each time one saves, the extra burden of having to generate
.war/ear/.jar/ files makes eclipse unusable.
