Your attachment implies that our code (AppRegisterComponent) provokes the exception.
However, exactly following your use-case one gets the exception attached now.
That is WTP bug that should be reported to Bugzilla.

Error calling delegate setDefaults() ServerWorkingCopy appears when we try to choose any
JBoss server in "Define a New Server" dialog box.
SEE ERROR LOG ATTACHED.
Steps:
1. EXECUTE: Choose File > New > Other... > Server
2. ASSERT: "Define a New Server" dialog box appears
3. EXECUTE: Choose JBoss > JBoss v4.2
4. FAILURE: Error appears
