Anything in the log? (~/.workspace/.metadata/.log) ?
What version of Java are you using?
Did you install to a read-only location (ie., installed as root, then tried to run as
user) ?
Could you compare what's installed in ~/jbdevstudio/studio/ with what's in your
~/eclipsejee/eclipse/ folder to see what, if any, features/plugins are missing? Eg.,
something like org.eclipse.equinox, org.eclipse.core, *x64*, ...?

After installing jbdevstudio-product-linux-gtk-x86_64-4.1.0.v201107151650R-H633-CR3.jar,
it seems all menus but the "Window" one are missing.

I don't have the problem using a stock Helios JavaEE distro.
