the commit gives hte user the option to check a checkbox to automatically discover this.
Leaving the checkbox checked will result in the user unable to change the command.
Unchecking the box will allow hte user the opportunity to change it, but other updates
(such as on rse server home being changed) will not occur.

Currently behaviour is that the first time the launch config is loaded, those values are
persisted in the launch config and never changed. The user should have an option to
customize the command (for a script etc) or *always* use the default (with values changed
as appropriate after changes in runtime or other parameters).
