Max Rydahl Andersen commented on TOOLSDOC-275:
----------------------------------------------
moved this issue to toolsdoc since not relevant to code since yes, editors should not be
opened/closed based on Perspective change.
JBoss Perspective cannot contain JBoss Central, the requirement for making it easily
accessible is instead done by:
A) opening the editor by default on startup (unless user explicitly asked not to)
B) have the jboss central quick access tool button.
JBoss Perspective does not include JBoss Central

Key: TOOLSDOC-275
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TOOLSDOC-275
Project: Documentation for JBoss Tools and Developer Studio
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: 3.3.0.Beta2
Reporter: Martin Malina
Assignee: Isaac Rooskov
Fix For: 3.3.0.CR1
According to JBDS 5 PRD, the JBoss Perspective should include JBoss Central. But it does
not.
JBoss Central is opened automatically at every start of JBT/JBDS so it is not such a big
issue.
It is also documented here:
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/nightly-docs/en/GettingStartedGuide/...
{quote}
The JBoss perspective views include: Project Explorer, JBoss Central, Outline, Palette,
Properties and Servers.
{quote}
So we either need to make sure JBoss Central is opened when you switch to JBoss
Perspective or if we think this is not required it needs to be removed from the
documentation.
