@Burr the reason for JBDS5 working might be because JBDS5 had a hack that marked the
server "Started" if startup could not be determined in 30 sec.
It looks like the as7 startup poller doesn't work for your server. Can you try
changing it to Web Port startup poller? I assume that will fix it for you.
1. Double-click the server in server view
2. Change Server State Detectors -> Startup Poller to Web Poller
3. Save
4. Start the server
