Can you make provide for us thread dump, to find why it looks? To make thread dump you can
use jconsole.

for reproduce this for test case you should :
1.place cursor in <rich:menuItem ... />
2.in Properties view click on row "iconStyle"
3. click on button "..."
4.Click "Ok" button
only restart eclipse will help.
