Have you tried to click Browse near Persistence Unit name field and select the
persistence unit name?
BTW. It seems I have found a bug there, and this should help you:
1. Set persistence unit name
2. makeProperty file field empty
3. go to warproject\WebContent\WEB-INF\dev\META-INF\ and replace the persistence.xml with
actual one (which is located in src/main/META-INF)
Console configuration should build ok. (but probably you'll need to update the
persistence.xml by hands)

Steps to reproduce the bug:
1) import a Seam project generated by SeamGen, enable Seam support on the project
2) open Window -> Show View -> Hibernate Configurations, click the project in the
view
3) now you get the exception shown in the attached screenshot
