i'm unable to replicate this except in the method max described.
Republishes only happen automatically if the server is started and the auto-publish thread
is enabled. Otherwise you must click the "publish" icon in the servers view or
jboss servers view in order to initiate an incremental publish.

Last nights build and current svn detects changes in files (the status changes to
republish) but the files are actually not deployed!
