I still do not understand what a database conection has to do with
JBoss Tools building aproject ?
the database is a flat file database of my jbt
project (derby, i think) and it is created although neither jboss is running nor my jboss
project affected. i work with a totally different project at that time!
how come the database file is created? that's usually only the case when i start jboss
and the project is deployed to jboss.
since i do not do that: the only reasonably suspicious one doing that on it's own is
the jboss tools plugin.
Why is it wrong that project archives rebuilding the jar ?
because i do not work with that project. it's a totally different task.
didn't touch the project for days.
there's no need to (re-)create the archive, the project is untouched and jboss is not
running.
btw. the list of plugins in startup/shutdown is not about
enabling/disabling plugins but only about which plugins you will allow to know when
Eclipse starts up.
If you disable these you risk things might not work as you expect.
it was a
disparate attempt to localize/disable the issue.

when starting eclipse after a short moment jboss tools try to build my jboss tools
project, though it's neither active nor necessary.
i use mylyn and have a context open in no way related to jboss, the jboss project was
build successfully last time used (before shutting down eclipse the last time) and not
touched since.
in "preferences -> general -> startup and shutdown" everything looking
like jboss is disabled.
but still after some seconds of deceptive ease the jboss tools project is build and a db
connection is created ...
additionally there seems to be more going on: due to problems i needed to kill eclipse
the hard way -- and after restart an error building the jboss project was announced! i did
not touch the jbt prjoct and it was not active!
