The intent was to avoid having central filled up with tons of small/many installation
options.
Being optional would mean that it would only install these if they were possible to
install (i.e. if their mylyn dependencies was fullfilled) and otherwise just ignore them.

Per Max, "we implement Central so we can make it do what we want/need."
So, we need to implement a way of having optional dependencies in Central. I believe the
goal here would be to mark git integration w/ github and w/ mylyn as OPTIONAL when
installing com.jboss.jbds.git.feature.
