my behavior in trunk shows the following:
1) add some folder, restart workbench
2) remove old folder,
3) re-open preference window, no folders listed
4) add new folder
a) result: old folder is re-added, new folder is added
3) remove old folder, restart workbench
4) only new folder is present.
5) add new folder2
Seems to be a minor hiccup, but still needs to be fixed.

When I remove the path from runtime detection preferences page and then add another path,
the removed path appears again.
