Steps to reproduce this 1) Create an Exploded WAR 2) Select the Exploded WAR in the Project Archive view 3) Right-Click and choose Edit Archive 4) Ensure 'Exploded archive resulting in a folder (no compression)' is checked. 5) Select Finish.
