I used BASIC authentication because there was no obvious way (at least I didn't see
one) to make it work with FORM authentication. With FORM authentication the webapp will
always redirect to the login page when the user is not authenticated even if you provide
the credentials. If this is not the normal behaviour, then maybe there is something wrong
with the way I construct the request.
