Adrian Mitev commented on JBIDE-3352:
-------------------------------------
The issue is not with the datasource itself
If you create a server in Preferences -> Server -> Runtime environments, start the
server and everything is fine. But for this server if you change it's home directory,
than the plugin still starts from the old directory.
JBoss AS started from eclipse does not load custom datasource

Key: JBIDE-3352
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-3352
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JBossAS
Affects Versions: 3.0.0.cr1
Environment: Windows XP, Eclipse 3.4.1, WTP 3.0.3. JBoss Tools N200812031910
Reporter: Adrian Mitev
Assignee: Rob Stryker
Attachments: ecs2-ds.xml, server-jbt.log, server.log, server2-standalone.log,
server2.log
See the attached files. server2-standalone.log is the log file (the content from the
console) when i start the server from run.bat, server-jbt.log is the log from the console
when i start the server from jboss server view.
The strange thing is that when i start the server from jboss server view, the as
doesn't read the datasource.
The datasource is outside the EAR and is deployed by hand (not using JBoss Tools)
