Kris Verlaenen commented on JBIDE-11836:
----------------------------------------
Yes, it seems there is a regressing in the Drools parser that prevents code completion to
function properly. I've asked Edson Tirelli to take a look (or delegate to someone
that will). What's the time frame we have left for the next build? Is this something
asap?
The autocomplete feature in the Drools eclipse plugin is broken

Key: JBIDE-11836
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-11836
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: drools
Affects Versions: 3.2.2.Final, 3.3.0.Beta2
Environment: Multiple systems (windows, linux, os x) all with eclipse (indigo or
helios)
Reporter: Paul Ryan
Assignee: Kris Verlaenen
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 3.3.0.Beta2-SOA
The drools auto-completion feature seems to have been disabled or is just no longer
working. There is mail archives floating about around this you can see these at
http://drools.46999.n3.nabble.com/rules-users-Eclipse-plugin-autocomplete....
For complex rule systems this integration needs to work to make drools a goto tool for
development.
