Patrick Alberts commented on JBIDE-6287:
----------------------------------------
Doesn't work for me as expected on JBossAS Tools 2.2.0.v20101206-2100-H28-Beta2
When I select "Externalize Strings" and then deselect the box "create a new
properties file" in order to choose an existing messages_en.properties, the drop-down
box "select resource bundle" is empty and does not show the
"messages_en.properties". I can enter text into that box, but whatever I enter,
the Next button remains inactive. The line below "properties file" is white
(i.e. active) but nothing can be entered at all.
I would expect the option to select the existing "messages_en.properties", get a
list of the existing property names and values in the box below and then be able to add my
new string for externalization.
Either I don't understand the concept here (which points towards bad UI) or this is
plain wrong. Both would warrant a reopening in my view.
