Denis Golovin commented on JBDS-1419:
-------------------------------------
If elcipse configuration is not generated during installation then it works. Eclipse
detects that configuration folder is not open wor writing and moves configuration into
directory like ~/.eclipse/com.jboss.jbds.all_4.0.0.v201101041500N-CR1_549108968 and uses
it for next starts. So solution for installing under root is skipping eclpse configuration
generation from installer.
Splashscreen is Eclipse instead of JBDS (except the first run) when
JBDS installed under root and ran under regular user

Key: JBDS-1419
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-1419
Project: Developer Studio (JBoss Developer Studio)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: installer
Affects Versions: 4.0.0.Beta2
Environment: Fedora 14 (x86_64), JBDS version 4.0.0.Beta2-H472 (installed from
http://scratch.englab.brq.redhat.com/jbds/builds/JBDS-4.0.0.Beta2-H472/jb...)
But I have seen this behavior on old Fedora 11 and JBDS 3.something, too.
Reporter: Jozef Chocholáček
Assignee: Denis Golovin
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 4.0.0.CR1
When I start JBDS for the first time after installation, then splashscreen is JBDS. But
on second and all next starts, the splashscreen is Eclipse.
