cannot confirm that for old installer under linux-gtk-x86 (Ubuntu 10.10) as well, going to
test under x86_64 on Monday.

But I have seen this behavior on old Fedora 11 and JBDS 3.something, too.

When I start JBDS for the first time after installation, then splashscreen is JBDS. But
on second and all next starts, the splashscreen is Eclipse.
