Alexey Kazakov commented on JBIDE-10393:
----------------------------------------
I can reproduce the issue that Fred mentioned.
What I did:
1. Imported Java EE Project from Central.
2. Created multi-web/src/main/resources folder.
3. Created Messages.properties in this folder with aaa=bbb content.
4. Added the following code into faces-config.xml:
{code}
<application>
<resource-bundle>
<base-name>Messages</base-name>
<var>msgs</var>
</resource-bundle>
</application>
{code}
5. Updated maven Project configuration (multi-web/src/main/resources became a java source
folder).
6. Opened index.xhtml and tried Ctrl+Space for #{msg.|
7. I couldn't see "aaa" proposal there.
8. Clean-build didn't help.
9. I restarted Eclipse. It helped. Now I see #{msg.aaa}
Resource bundle varible not getting resolved in xhtml editor

Key: JBIDE-10393
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-10393
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: JSF, maven
Affects Versions: 3.3.0.M4
Reporter: Vimal Kansal
Assignee: Viacheslav Kabanovich
Fix For: 3.3.0.Beta1
Attachments: .project, .project, .project,
jbosstools-diagnostics-20111208220820.zip, jsf-from-blank-archetype.zip
I used the maven archetype "jboss-javaee6-webapp-blank-archetype" to create a
blank project. I have created a messages.properties file as
/src/main/java/com.corejsf/messages.properties. In my faces-config.xml, I have configured
:
<application>
<resource-bundle>
<base-name>com.corejsf.messages</base-name>
<var>msgs</var>
</resource-bundle>
</application>
Now, when I create a new .xhtml page and want the auto-completion to automatically
resolve an expression like #{msgs. i.e after typing #{msgs. when I press CTRL+SPACE, I
don't see the list of properties defined in the resource bundle. However, CTRL+SPACE
stuff works if I refer to any CDI bean.
