I believe this JIRA was about the management port used for polling not being in sync with
the one used in MBean Explorer. This is now fixed. But there is another issue -
JBIDE-11854

Currently in the jmx connection for as71 / eap6, the management port is hard-coded. This
should make use of the management port stored in JBoss7Server.
