Sure, Vlado this issue was not about "unnecessary strings", but about some
layout and unnecessary empty lines (which were removed for M1) - see
UnnesessaryLinesRemoved.png for example.
The issue about "unnecessary strings" is another issue (JBIDE-8923) which was
resolved as fixed for 3.3.0.M2
