While testing your patch, I noticed a label issue that I've spun off into JBIDE-6137.
It's a minor fix that should be done in the 3.1.x branch and the trunk for 3.2.next.

WS and ESB preference page used a UI framework for editing widgets and updating their
values, the current ESB and WS copied this part of code to its own plugin, it should be
refactored to use it in common.ui
