note: The "standard" logic is to use the current active selection (which is not
necessarily just in project explorer) and if that doesn't resolve to something useful
(i.e. an resource) then look at the active editor and try get the underlying resource from
that.

At the moment it will take defaults from the active editor, if it's the Smooks
Editor. If the active editor is not the Smooks editor, it doesn't assign any default.
We should extend to potentially use the file selected in the explorer.
