Galder Zamarreno commented on JBIDE-2210:
-----------------------------------------
Whether it's a feature request or bug is slightly debatable
cos no one has still answered my question: "Hmmm, what's
the point of "Server's Host Name" then? ". What's the use of it?
New Server wizard ignoring "Server's Host Name"
-----------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-2210
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-2210
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JBossAS
Affects Versions: 2.1.0.CR1
Reporter: Galder Zamarreno
Assigned To: Rob Stryker
Fix For: 3.0.x
When creating a new server, you can define a "Server's Host Name".
Shouldn't the value of this field used for JBDS to start AS/EAP instances
with -b <value of Server's Host Name>? It's not doing it right now.
