Ok. I'm still confused about this one... hopefully Max can answer...
Should the Java facet version be set to the same as the runtime or the workspace Java
version? And what happens if the two aren't in sync?

ESB project creation wizard defaults the version of jst.java facet to be "5.0",
there should be a *Modify* button at the first page of the wizard for changing the
project facets and facet version just like other types of WTP project wizard
