Gene Gretter commented on JBIDE-2210:
-------------------------------------
Seems to me that it is the last part of a partially implemented feature. Entering a value
for Server Host Name has no impact when starting JBoss, but this value is used when
stopping JBoss. The result is that you can not stop JBoss if the Server Host Name is
anything but localhost, unless the launch configuration is modified to include -b
hostname.
New Server wizard ignoring "Server's Host Name"

Key: JBIDE-2210
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-2210
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JBossAS
Affects Versions: 2.1.0.CR1
Reporter: Galder Zamarreno
Assigned To: Rob Stryker
Fix For: 3.0.x
When creating a new server, you can define a "Server's Host Name".
Shouldn't the value of this field used for JBDS to start AS/EAP instances
with -b <value of Server's Host Name>? It's not doing it right now.
