1) this is marked as fix for 3.1.1 but fixed in trunk!
2) globally setting it to file access is not the right solution for this. The access type
should be deduced by whether it were found by looking at properties (getters/setters) or
fields.
Set default-access type to "field" to prevent

When there is no getter or setter in the class an exception occurs:
org.hibernate.PropertyNotFoundException: Could not find a setter for property id in class
...
To prevent this use defauilt-acess="field" in the mapping in New Hibernate
Mapping file wizard.
