Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-2622:
--------------------------------------------
I'm not fully sure about it but at least changing the descriptions and/or names of
pages so a user can understand what the difference is between the JSF and Seam portlet
wizard which on the first look like they are 100% identifical...
There is 3 portlet wizards for something that does *almost* the same
thing

Key: JBIDE-2622
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-2622
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Plan
Affects Versions: 3.0.0.alpha
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Assignee: Snjezana Peco
Fix For: 3.0.0.beta1
Having 3 wizards for portlet generation feels overkill/complex.
Couldn't we just have 2 ? The plain Portlet wizard and a JSF Portlet Wizard ?
The latter would dependent on the targeted project adjust for what it should do (JSF or
Seam style) and optimally the user should be able to say which style he wants (Pure JSF or
Seam style portlet?).
