Max Andersen updated RHDS-313:
------------------------------
Fix Version/s: 1.0.0.GA
agreed - we should warn not prevent the usage of a 64 bit
Proper warning when installing on 64-Bit JVMs on Linux
------------------------------------------------------
Key: RHDS-313
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RHDS-313
Project: Red Hat Developer Studio
Issue Type: Bug
Components: installer
Affects Versions: 1.0.0.beta2
Environment: Linux x86_64, any 64bit jdk
Reporter: Sanne Grinovero
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 1.0.0.GA
Original Estimate: 30 minutes
Remaining Estimate: 30 minutes
support for 64bit JVM's could be marked "minor" still I would suggest
putting a more reasonable warning in the installer,
currently it says "The chosen directory does not contain a Java VM".
This is very misleading and I've been losing much time because of this.
